My formal was last weekend and it was absolutely one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time. I love my sisters and my date was super chill and it was just a crazy fun weekend. 

Got to meet Mike Adams today! He’s a safety who just got signed to the Denver broncos. He grew up in Paterson, NJ which is an awfully dangerous city in my area, and played football for university of Delaware 10 years ago. He was a human services major, so my teacher cancelled our 3:30 class so we could go see Mike’s presentation at 4. It was so awesome. He’s such a down to earth guy. And the stuff he’s been through is just…crazy. And he does so much good for the community that never helped him and had such a negative influence on his life. He’s really making a difference. And he’s going to help so many kids in Paterson that go through the same stuff he went through. I’m so excited to see the good he will do. Rising-starsfoundation.org

It’s definitely spring here at UD

The last 7 hours of my life was spent dancing, jumping, screaming, laughing, singing, crying, and raising $455,982.16 for the B+ Foundation at UDance 2012. It should be noted that in the past 4 years of UDance the total amount of money raised was around $400,000. In 2012 alone we raised nearly $456,000. UN.REAL. I’m so proud of my sisters, of my fellow greeks, and of my university. FOR A SMILE, FOR A LIFE, FOR A CURE #FTK 

And on top of all the good doing today, I got to hang out with Julie and Katie who mean the world to me and who I love so so dearly.
